KIND Climate
A Healthy Society can only be brought about through better education which is just the first step in our plan to bring about behavioural change. We have English, Maths and science as compulsory subjects in school. It’s time to make Environment, that compulsory subject for children all over the world. Help us, help them, help yourself, in saving our planet.
KIND Climate Academy
Kind Climate Academy will provide education through its platform which will have an offering of free online courses, both short-form video-based courses as well as long-course programs. Alongside industry experts, we have created our KindClimate courses by our team of psychologists and social scientists. We have utilised confidence-building methods in our courses that we have adapted from our existing workshops which have shown a real impact on our youth programs, across multiple countries. Our statistics show that these programs are highly effective in deterring marginalised youth away from knife crime, gang culture and extremism while improving retention in schools and following through to higher education rates.
Distribution will occur both in-person and online utilising our Kind Climate influencers to promote the project and our Kind Climate action ambassadors, who will execute the program on the ground. We are going to make it a requirement for all youth who participate in our programs to complete various KIND Climate courses and participate in community-based climate-conscious initiatives like
our global KIND Climate plastic collection initiative.
Initiatives on Waste Management
The normalisation and propagation of waste pollution, in particular, plastic, domestic refuse, and electrical waste, in low social-economic communities around the world, cannot be allowed to continue. Education in these areas can not just be left up to local governments. It requires a global input both fiscally and with direct action at a grassroots level. KIND Climate will be translating its courses into impactful dialects, with local distribution helping address these problems.
There is another necessity for practical on the ground training and education in the usage of water and collection which can have a life-changing impact on a person living in communities where water conservation isn’t understood but urgently required. This is becoming another emergency in its own right, such as the water shortages increasingly experienced on a global scale like the current water crisis ongoing in Mexico City.
Initiatives on Sanitary Development
There is a serious need to educate vast swathes of the population in Africa, South America and some South Asia Countries on the usage of low-cost toilets. We intend to pivot this initiative through developing ambassadors for education and usage of technologies to develop bio-toilets with minimum wastage of water and minimum disbursal of refuse. We are closely working with industry experts, engineers and scientists on this subject to create a low-cost user-friendly model which can be emulated across several jurisdictions.
