TUFF Environment
TUFF Environment launches – Climate Change project 2020 with the British Government & the Commonwealth of Nations.
Envision the future of the climate, animals, humans, and technology in London in 2035.
Last year, our TUFF team from Goldsmiths University in partnership with Commonwealth of Nations, Golden Tours and West London schools, held pilot workshops around London as part of London’s Commonwealth Climate Change Week. Andria Zafirakou, the winner of the Global Teacher Prize, participated with her 50 students in a creative workshop- inviting them to conceptualise London in the year 2035.
This year TUFF Envirioment launches its TUFF Survival kit 2035 with the British Government & Commonwealth of Nations, and will be part of the Sustainability Development Goals by the UN.
The world has adopted an ambitious agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals, to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.
TUFF is aiming to achieve these goals through careful planning and engagement with schools around London. Educating children to understand the importance of the environment, and their role in shaping their future with the support of the many diverse stakeholders, which will be key to the success of this 3-year project.
TUFF will also support the government to encourage everyone to play their part in improving our environment , engaging and promoting action at all levels of society through the 2019 Year of Green Action to 2020.
